Save the Dream Ohio : Foreclosure Counselors and Attorneys

Save the Dream Ohio works with 37 HUD-Certified housing counseling agencies as well as legal aid societies and pro-bono associations to help get Ohioans facing foreclosure the help they need. This page contains information to help those individuals and organizations that are actively helping homeowners fight foreclosure.

  • Foreclosure Mediation
  • In February 2008, Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer announced The Foreclosure Mediation Program Model, the first of its kind in the nation. It is an 11- step model (outlined below) designed by the Dispute Resolution Section of the Supreme Court of Ohio. Foreclosure mediation is now available in all 88 counties in Ohio.
